Grrrr!! Crazy paint lady...Remember her?
The one with the snow-cone green?! The one who didn't let her damn primer dry!!
That ***** filed a formal complaint with the paint company.Apparantly I treated her like she was crazy(now I may have thought it....but I didn't say it until after she proved it) She also insists I was rude and refused to mix her the color she wanted.
Umm...ok...who picked the ugly green!! Not me.*shakes head*
While she did come in with a picture of a competitor color,I explained to her..without a color swatch of that color I could make it;but couldn't guarantee it would be right shade.So...She decided on our green.Needless to say the Rep called here and I had to explain the whole mess to him.
His reccomendation....call her and apoligize (Basically kiss her ass)
The response here...NO way!Forget it! I will not apoligize for her fabrications!
Thankfully we are not owned by the company...we carry their product;but they do not own our store.And the family that does own us is on my side.
But let me tell you...The next person to come in wanting Lime-Green won't be waited on by me.:P

Color of the day-Snow Cone Green.*gags*
Now when some-one comes in to choose a color,we stress that the color will change in their lighting.Therefore we suggest that they take the sample home and see how it looks before coming to the final decision.
So,Lady comes in...and chooses the above mentioned color.O_o. She will not consider looking at the swatch at home first.Ohhhh noooooo!! This is THE color.
Fine,you want it,you get it.(Don't say I didn't warn you)
Now this color requires a deep base primer as an undercoat to achieve the proper vibrance.The deep base primer being VERY dark green.About this shade.
Primer dries to the touch in one hour...but you can't recoat for 3-4.
So,off she goes,Paint and primer in hand.
Guess who calls the store 3 hours later? Crazy Lady,*nods head*
She has put the primer on and one coat of the paint...and SURPRISE!!...the primer is showing through and the paint is not spreading well.
So we ask"How long did you wait for the primer to dry?"
Her response.."Well maybe an hour.I want the room done"
Now the fun part.lol.
I inform her that while I am very sorry her paint is not working out,it's not our fault she did not follow the paint guidelines.Sorry,but that's how it is.
Conversation over.Right? WRONG!!
Guess who called the manager and demanded free paint,lmao.And not only does she want free paint,she wants a different color.The lovely snow cone green is too limey she says.(Why does she think I told her to look it at home first)
Needless to say..no free paint and one lady who SWEARS she will never set foot in our store again.
It's the weather...It has to be.;)

Well after speaking to Chelsys father,it appears the school had no issue with the time missed.And I phoned them myself to see how any of this is justified.Their response-As long as she kept up with what she missed,it was fine.
What a lovely school system we have here.
Report Cards came home today.
Chelsy did well,her marks have improved.:)
Austin's was fine,the teacher made a point to note that this term suffered due to medication changes and she is confident he's back on track.
So not much to worry about so far.;)

A day like any other.
Got up fairly early today for a Sunday.8:00am.Did the usual..neo,hosework.
My Father and his wife came to spend the afternoon.It was a nice day.Snowing yet warm.We watched Disney's Mystery Alaska.
It was a good movie.Good ole Hockey and Disney wrapped into one.
Now it's quiet time.Austin is off to bed and Brady is watching a movie.
Chelsy called earlier and informed me her Dad kept her out of school for the past week to have her help with his wedding preperations.Grrrr...Sometimes he can be so numb..complain about her marks and then have her miss a week of school!!
Needless to say she is not overly impressed at her Dad's second marriage.(Bear in mind the first marriage was not to me)
I think if he didn't push at her so much to accept his wife and her kids she would come around on her own.She just needs her own space and time.;)

I have come to the conclusion this user pic of me is horid.lol
Not much to discuss today...Work was busy as it will be now until at least December.
While I love the job and helping people find just the right color..I can't help become annoyed when someone comes in and asks me to "just pick anything" for them.
I'm not the one who has to live with this color..so today I decided to act the smart-ass and pick a horrendous color.O_o
Go to the Benjamin Moore website and look at the color Dill Pickle...then picture it in your bedroom.LOL.
Needless to say,she picked her own color after that.;)
Austin has been doing amazingly well on his new medications.And there is defiantly a reduction of stress for me now that we seem to have the AS diagnosis and he is getting the help and support he needs.

This is here for the simple fact that I just started this up and thought I should at least type something...
My Dad and his Wife arrived here today.How nice of them to come back so soon.Don't get me wrong,I love my Dad..but he can be tiring.
